So how do you fell today? Pause with me for a moment. Stop and sincerely think about this question. How do feel? Weak, tired, overwhelmed, joyful, thankful?
In Lamentations 3:21-24 Jeremiah writes,
"Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed,
for his compassions never fail.
They are new every morning;
Great is your faithfulness.
I say to myself, "The Lord is my portion;
Therefore I will wait for Him.
If you joined me in Monday's devotion, you laid it all out before the Lord. You invited HIM into your world. You asked HIM to take away any sins that were hanging over you, weighing you down or keeping you from being fulfilled in HIM. How did you feel afterwards? Lighter, hopeful, forgiven, restored? The list could go on and on and on! This is how we are intended to feel on a daily basis. These emotions are the 'silver lining' to a life in Christ. HE is our portion. Amen? We will never be fulfilled by other people, places, or things. Let's invite HIM into our world each day. Experience Communion with HIM.
